Neptune
Ewan LEBOURDAIS, Official Painter of the Navy (photographer), Brick & Dague, the network of Marine Commandos active in civilian life and their partners are launching an exhibition of artistic photographs in 2024 called “NEPTUNE”, taken from the eponymous book, published in 2023 by Odyssées editions.
This exhibition, whose artistic direction is entrusted to Ewan LEBOURDAIS, highlights the little-known and discreet world of marine fusiliers and marine commandos through a series of 30 unpublished photos, captured on missions, in training or on the military bases of Lorient and Toulon.
Two other photographers from the Marine Commandos, “LARGO” and Kellian BIER, are joining forces with Ewan LEBOURDAIS in this unique adventure to reveal their very special world. Particular emphasis is placed on the Hubert commando and its interaction with nuclear attack submarines, a valuable and strategic vector in carrying out underwater or amphibious operations.
Enjoy Erwan’s magnificent naval photos while you’re at the exhibition.
